The first Africa Regional Interest Group (AfRIG) Conference of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) scheduled for Accra, Ghana in July this year has been postponed to next year because of the current Covid–19 pandemic and resulting travel and other restrictions imposed by governments and health authorities around the world.

ISPE convenes International and Regional Conferences on Pharmacoepidemiology each year and has held meetings in the Americas, Asia and Europe. The Accra meeting was to be the first ISPE conference in Africa. The conference was to have been held at the University of Ghana campus in Accra from 13-15 July 2020 but has now been postponed to July 2021.

CorpComm is the conference secretariat and event organiser for the conference.  You may visit our site from time to time for news on developments.
